The Citation V can accommodate seven to ten passengers in a variety of seating arrangements. A deluxe refreshment center is a standard amenity and a belted lavatory seat is also available. Cabin height is 4.8 ft., cabin width is 4.9 ft. And length is 17.7 ft. for a total cabin volume of 292 cubic feet. The Citation V, certificated in December 1988, is an improved variant of the S/II. It incorporated a fuselage stretch of an additional 20 in. and the more powerful Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5A turbofans rated at 2,900 lbs. thrust each. Deliveries began in March 1989 with 37 Citation V's delivered the first year. 262 Citation V's were produced before the model was replaced by the Ultra in 1994.
