Overview

The Astra SPX is normally configured for six passengers in a club-and-a-half arrangement. Although the SPX is capable fo transcontinental flights, it possesses a relatively small cabin (375 cu ft) for its class. A full-width aft lavatory is furnished with an externally serviced toilet and hot-water sink, and includes a skylight window for additional daylight illumination. The forward galley offers cold storage capability for food and beverages. The Astra SPX is powered by a pair of AlliedSignal TFE 731-40-200G turbofans flat-rated to 4,250 lbs. of thrust each at ISA +9 C. Inspection interval on the engines is 5,000 hours.
