The CJ2's passenger area has been stretched some 33 inches in length over the CJ1's cabin to allow a forward club seating arrangement for four passengers and two aft forward-facing seats. The cabin is fitted with a Bravo-style slim-line overhead providing more room; the right hand forward refreshment center is enlarged, and a non-flushing toilet is located aft of dual divider panels. The CJ2 employs a pair of Williams Roll-Royce FJ44-2C turbofan engines rated at 2,400lbs. of thrust each at ISA + 7 degrees. The engines each have an additional compressor stage compared to the CJ1's 1,900 lb. thrust FJ44-1A turbofans. Inspection interval on the engines is 3,500 hours.
