The Bombardier Challenger 870 is an extended version of the Challenger 850. It is 18.8 feet longer and provides an 11 foot longer cabin capable of holding a total of 70 passengers. The cabin of the Challenger 870 has been redesigned from the Challenger 850 and the floor has been lowered 1 inch. The fuselage structure has also been redesigned to provide more head room while seated. The windows on the Challenger 870 have been enlarged and raised 4.8 inches to be closer to the passengers head. There are three interior configurations available including the standard configuration of 70 coach seats, the deluxe with 42 business class seats, and the split with 8 executive chairs and 44 coach seats
