The G-IVSP Model features an increased ramp weight, MTOW, maximum landing weight, and maximum payload. In December 2002 Gulfstream rolled S/N 1499, the last G-IVSP. A total of 501 G-IVs and G-IVSP's have been produced. G-IV lineage will continue as the mid-range G300 and long-range G400. The Gulfstream IV-SP's typical configuration seats 10-12 passengers in an executive layout, or 14-19 in higher-density arrangements. It is normally outfitted with all the amenities appropriate for long-range flights, including a large galley and a full-sized lavatory with a shower.
