Cessna determined that interiors of the Citation VII should be individually tailored to each client's preferences. Typical configurations seat six to nine passengers and include a lavatory, although in a high density seating plan the aircraft can accommodate up to eleven. The Citation VII received FAA certification in March 1992, with first customer delivery the following month. The Citation VII continued in production through 2000 with 119 aircraft delivered. The Citation VII is powered by two Honeywell TFE 731-4R-2S turbofan engines each rated at 4,080 lbs. of thrust at ISA +9 C. The 731-4 uses a digital electronic engine control (DEEC) system. Inspection interval on the engines is 4,200 hours.
