The 2000S was developed to compete with the smaller less capable super-midsize aircraft. The S has more range, shorter runway requirements and better fuel efficiency than the Falcon 2000DX model it replaced. FAA certification and entry into service occurred in 2013.The Falcon 2000S has a 1,024 cu. ft. cabin volume with seating for 10. A 4-seat club section is located in the forward cabin and a 4-seat conference group with 2 adjacent facing seat at the rear. Standard equipment includes a Rockwell Collins cabin management system, a 19 in. color monitor on the forward bulkhead and 2 plug-in seat monitors. There is a large galley opposite the entry and a galley annex in the vestibule forward of the main seating area. A full-width, externally serviced, lavatory is located at the rear of the cabin.
