The Cessna Citation S/II was offered with standard six and nine-passenger configurations.The Citation II was replaced in 1984 by the Citation S/II, powered by the new JT15D-4B engine variant which offered greater thrust at higher altitudes. The S/II also featured a new supercritical wing for reduced high-speed drag and was equipped with a fluid de-icing system in place of the pneumatic boots found on earlier Citations.
