The Learjet 45 is ordinarily configured for eight passengers in a double-club arrangement. The floor plan can be reconfigured to replace the standard double-club seating with mid-club seating and insert two executive tables and four slimline tables. The Model 45 is also the first Learjet to feature an external baggage compartment, with 51 cu.ft. of heated baggage space. The Learjet 45XR is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-20-BR turbofan engines rated at 3,500 lbs. of thrust each, flat-rated to ISA +16C. Inspection interval on the engines is 6,000 hours.
