Overview

The Falcon 50EX made its public debut at the 1996 NBAA Annual Meeting in Orlando and received certification in December 1996. The 50EX features a switch to the TFE731-40 engines, resulting in significant improvements in high altitude cruise speed, fuel efficiency and range. In a further improvement over the earlier model 50, the Collins Pro Line 4 EFIS panel was offered as standard equipment on the Falcon 50EX. Through the end of 2007, 101 Falcon 50EXs had been delivered to customers.The standard configuration of the Falcon 50EX is a double-club arrangement for eight passengers, with a full aft lavatory and forward galley. Higher-density configurations can seat twelve passengers.
