Overview

The 850CS is a twin turbofan-powered, high-capacity business jet configured as a cantilever, low swept wing monoplane with a swept empennage. The Dowty retractable tricycle landing gear has dual wheels on each unit and trailing link main gear mounts. The 850CS is powered by a pair of General Electric CF34-3B1 turbofan engines rated at 8,729lbs. of thrust at ISA + 8 degrees. Inspection interval on this engine is "on condition". The 850CS is usually configured for executive shuttle operations with 18 to 30 seats, four to six of which may be executive-style single seats. The lavatory is located at the aft cabin position.
